Sunday Night Thoughts 8/14/11
I love being able to walk around Sunday mornings and see all of the amazing volunteers at Elevation setting up and praying for that days services. Today I even had the opportunity to see a group of our volunteers share with each other about how excited they were to see God show up. Then I was able to watch some of our Parking lot crew come in after the first service and they were so excited about all of the people that they were able to help. Every Sunday it takes crews of people to pull off our services so that people can come and hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. I want to thank all of those of you that have become team members of Elevation and serve so that we can do what God has called us to do in Aurora, CO and the world. We have seen more and more people experience the F-bomb because of Elevation. Here are a few of the things that were a part of today:
- Again we had the opportunity to see Jesus at work and saw 7 people say, “Yes” to Jesus.
- We had 9 first time guests at Elevation. We love having people come and check things out.
- We are excited to be able to baptize a couple of people this coming Sunday before they move away. AWESOME!
- Had the Joining The Team Huddle (Part One) at the house and heard great conversations about faith and Elevation.
- Had some of our students at the Joining The Team Huddle tonight. They are so a part of our church and leading well.
