Scott Bloyer grew up playing football and fighting his way through high school. At 21 years of age he came home from a bar fight to his mother telling him he was going to end up dead or in jail if he didn’t give his life to Jesus. He got down on his knees and said “If God you are real, I can’t do this anymore on my own.”
Scott later became a Youth Pastor for 16 years. In 2008 God called him to start a church. After a lot of prayer and God moving in Scott’s family they chose to move back to the neighborhood where he grew up and start Elevation Christian Church on October 10, 2010.
While developing the community that would launch Elevation, Scott trained fighters how to wrestle and compete in MMA. Through this job Scott has been invited to be a part of local fighting events and has worked with some of the top MMA and UFC fighters in the world. Several have started attending Elevation.
Scott has a passion to see men come to know Christ and lead in the local church body, and to see churches planted all over. He has spoken at student camps, men’s retreats, MOPS events, school leadership events, and you can find him almost every Sunday speaking at Elevation.
Scott has been married to his best friend Michelle for 20 years and loves being a dad to Danielle 19, Tyler 18, and Morgan 15. If he isn’t working, you can find him going on dates with his wife or hanging out with his kids.
If you would like to have Scott come and be a part of your event then fill out the form below and he will get back to you as soon as he can.
Here is what a few others have said about Scott and his ability as a speaker:
“Scott is a dynamic, refreshingly honest, and convicting communicator of the Gospel message. He’s also the real deal—the dude lives what he teaches. I know these things first hand—I have sat under his teaching, and I’m proud to call him a friend.”
Lead Pastor Phil Vaughn, Southeast Christian Church in Parker, CO
“Scott is an energetic engaging speaker who is passionate and genuine. He is refreshingly bold in how speaks.. However my favorite quality is that he is relational and loves to sit down and talk with others.”
Middle School Pastor Ryan Cochran, Valley Community Church in Pleaston, CA
“We had Scott Bloyer speak on Sunday at Valley View and he really nailed it. He did a great job communicating God’s truth in a compelling way with passion and conviction. His message was right on – and he didn’t pull any punches. He combined humor and truth in a way that spoke to the hearts of the audience. Our people were not only impressed with his communicative abilities but were several shared how they were moved to make changes in their lives – and that’s the bottom line. I’d heartily recommend Scott as a speaker for your church or event.”
Senior Pastor Gene Barron, Valleyview Christian Church Highlands Ranch, CO
